💉 GOOD NEWS FOR OUR TAMARIKI! 🧡
From 1 September 2026, influenza vaccination is now funded for all children aged 6 months up to their 5th birthday.
This is an important change because young children are among those most likely to become seriously unwell with influenza and are more likely to need hospital care. Māori and Pacific children are disproportionately affected by influenza-related illness.
And the message isn’t just for our little ones…
Influenza vaccination is still funded for other eligible people, including:
👶 Children aged 6 months to under 5 years
🤰 Pregnant people
👵 People aged 65 years and over
❤️ People with certain health conditions or who are otherwise eligible
Getting vaccinated is one of the best ways to reduce your risk of serious illness and help protect the people around you.
So if you or your whānau are eligible and haven’t had your flu vaccine this year, now is a good time to get protected. 💉
📞 Give us a call to book or to check your eligibility.
More protection for our tamariki. More protection for our communities. ❤️
